How much will it cost to cut my tree?

This is one of the most frequently asked questions we hear. Unfortunately we cannot give an approximate cost over the phone without viewing the works. Every tree, its location and requirements are different. Price is based on the size, the method required to do the works, the location for accessibility, proximity to overhead lines and roads and any other structure of value.

We provide free written quotes and carry out hazard assessments allowing us to answer all your questions.

How long will it take to get a quote?

We arrange a suitable time for a site visit within 4 hours of your initial enquiry and aim to be with you within 48hrs. We do arrange times to suit everyone between the hours of 7am-8pm and can also accommodate weekends. A written quote will then be emailed or posted to you the next day.

How soon can my tree work be carried out?

This depends on the requirements for each job, some require specialist equipment or traffic control to be arranged and times may vary on demand, such as storm damage/emergency work. When we receive confirmation of acceptance we will ask if you have a preference and if not, give you the next available day usually within 14 days.

Do I need to be home when the work is being carried out?

If there is no access issue then there is no need for you to be at home for the work to be carried out. We do however ask for pets to be kept inside as the chainsaws and chipper may frighten some pets.

Do you remove all the waste from site?

Yes, all tree cuttings and timber are removed from site. Occasionally we are asked to leave the mulch or firewood and sometimes both.

Do you grind stumps same day as tree removal?

Stump grinding is usually carried out within 48 hours of a tree removal, but when a request is made for all work to be completed on the same day, we will endeavour to accommodate this.

How do I pay for the works completed?

Payment can be made by any of the following methods and is required on completion of the work:

Option 1 – Cash or Cheque
Pay at completion of the job by cash or cheque to the team leader who will issue you with a receipt.

Option 2- Credit Card
Telephone the office on 13004TREES to make the payment.

Option 3 – Internet Banking
Payment can be made by internet banking to:

Option 4 – EFTPOS facilities
