CFS Brings Forward SA’s Fire Danger Season

The South Australian Country Fire Service has announced earlier dates for the Fire Danger Season for nine of it’s fifteen districts – up to two weeks early, including the Adelaide Metropolitan area. Prompted by above-average temperatures throughout the spring season and the expected heat and dryness throughout the upcoming summer months, the CFS is urging the South Australian community to be bushfire ready and have an emergency action plan in place.
